Photo by Miller County Missouri . OrgA high-speed pursuit which began over the weekend in Pulaski County comes to an end in Miller County. Sheriff Louie Gregoire says Crocker police had been chasing the subject on Saturday with deputies from Miller County picking up on the pursuit along northbound hwy-17. A highway patrol trooper also got in on the action deploying a spike stick which deflated one of the suspect’s tires, eventually, leading to the end of the pursuit about a mile later. The driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Brandon Mencik of Plattsburg, had been wanted on an outstanding felony warrant with a $40-thousand cash-only bond out of Clinton County. Mencik is now also charged with felony resisting with a $10-thousand bond in Miller County where he continues to be held.
