The Camden County Planning and Zoning Commission met last week in regular session. The commission heard from two developments taking place on the Westside of the Lake. The first of the two is Porto Village, a subdivision plan inside the Shawnee Bend area off of MM near the Villages. The 26 acre development includes 36 single family residential lots. The second discussed zoning was Mission Bay who are looking to change to 13 single family lots into Duplexes. The board did discuss this and had no opposition moving it into old business and recommending their approval. Mission Bay was originally started in planning process in 2006 and is located off Twin Rivers Road in Greenview.
