Thursday was the Great Central U.S. Shakeout in which more than 2.5 million people in 14 states including Missouri participated. Just one day after the earthquake drill, two quakes shook southeast Missouri Friday afternoon. A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was reported 11 miles north, northwest of Doniphan. Less than half hour later, another quake shook the same area again. A 3.2 magnitude hit about eight miles north of Doniphan. There were no reports of any damage.
