1/4 Cent Hike in Sales Tax Could be Coming to Lake Ozark

Lake Ozark voters will be asked in November to consider a one-quarter cent hike in the sales tax to help cover costs tied to a major sewer spill several years ago. The Board of Aldermen have given the City Attorney to draft the paperwork to put the issue on the balance. Aldermen chose this route instead of an across the board sewer rate hike of $2.50/month.
