Reaction continues to come in regarding the Missouri Department of Transportation’s plan for taking care of roads and bridges with a significantly reduced budget. MODOT area engineer Bob Lynch says several roads across the Lake of the Ozarks would still receive a lot of attention as they’re considered primary roads that connect communities across the state.
However, lynch says it’s not all good news as there is only $325 million dollars instead of the $485 million needed for the state’s roadways. So leadership in the state of Missouri will eventually have to make a decision on where we go from here.
