If you’re still on the look for a real Christmas tree, you may want to hurry.
Tree farms around the Lake Area say they’re selling out faster than any year before.
Speaking with KY3 TV, Jessie Huntley of Cole’s Tree Farm in Lebanon says they’re getting visitors from all over the state.
Part of the reason for the shortage was the large wildfires earlier this year and a much higher demand for real trees, which Huntley says is likely due to the pandemic.
Cole’s Tree Farm has already sold over 500 trees so far, matching their previous year-end total for 2019.
