Real Estate Boom Shows Over $1.1 Billion For 2020 Across The Lake

We now know just how big the Real Estate boom was for 2020 across the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors, the final 2020 property sales number reached over $1.1 billion dollars, more than 60% higher than the previous year.

Realtors say it’s due to people leaving major cities and states, trying to get away from the chaos.

Ron Yarbrough with PrimeLending tells KRMS News that buyers even bought large tracts of farmland.

He says realtors and lenders had a hard time keeping property on the market, often buyers were snatching up homes on the phone to beat someone from taking it.

In total, sales for listings over a million dollars jumped over 240% compared to 2019, and waterfront homes jumped to nearly 230%.
