The trial of a local woman who allegedly confessed to an unsolved murder in Camden County over nine years ago has been delayed without reason. 36 year old Clara Rector was scheduled to go on trial Monday for the 2004 murder of 48 year old Tommy Hope. Rector was originally questioned in the case prior to her confession but police were unable to link her to the crime at that time. Rector is being held without bond in the Camden County jail. The court has not said what caused the delay.
