The American Red Cross is helping a third family that is left homeless after a fire at an apartment complex on Doyle Road in Eldon. Volunteers from the Heart of Missouri Chapter met Tuesday with a family of three that had not been able to make contact with the agency. The Red Cross provided financial resources for the family to buy food, clothing and baby formula. The family was also given referrals to other agencies. Red Cross volunteers have also met with another family of three and a family of four that also lost everything in the apartment building fire on Saturday. One resident was able to save some belongings and declined assistance from the Red Cross.
