American Red Cross staff and volunteers are working to make sure everyone affected by the recent flooding in Central and South Central Missouri has the opportunity to meet with relief agencies. Officials opened a Multi-Agency Relief Center on Tuesday at the Westside Baptist Church on Highway 66 West in Waynesville. Anyone not able to travel to the MARC because of flood-related transportation issues should call the Heart of Missouri Chapter’s toll-free number at 866-815-2738. The Red Cross will work with local authorities to make transportation arrangements or Red Cross volunteers can travel to meet clients through the Outreach program. Information and assistance from a number of relief agencies located at the MARC is available to anyone in flooded areas, including Camden, Laclede, Miller, and Pulaski counties. The MARC is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
