Public Service Announcement
City of Lake Ozark
This weekend brings two popular events to The Strip in Lake Ozark – Hot Summer Nights Friday night and the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals car show Friday through Sunday.
With those events, there are special parking restrictions for the public.
There will be no public parking on The Strip from School Road to Bagnell Dam from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday to allow for car show vehicles to be displayed. Any non-show vehicles left on The Strip during that time frame will be towed.
The Strip will reopen to regular traffic and parking at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police Chief Gary Launderville said 12 vehicles were towed last year at the expense of the vehicles’ owners.
Businesses will remain open throughout the weekend.
