Report Labels Missouri “Worst State for Businesses in the Midwest”

Missouri is the worst state for businesses in the Midwest. That’s according to a report from financial website 247wallst.com. The report cites a decline in the number of businesses in the state, which fell by 6% in 2017, the largest decline of any state. Missouri recorded the 25th worst real change in gross domestic product, the 19th lowest average earnings per job, and 18th lowest in terms of adults with at least a bachelor’s degree.
