State Representative Diane Franklin
At the end of her fourth term next year, a Lake Area Representative has announced she’ll be going for a State Senate seat. Representative Diane Franklin made the announcement on her new Facebook page Tuesday night. Representative Franklin says that, because the House is still in session, she will not begin campaigning yet. If elected next year, she will represent the 16th district, currently represented by Senator Dan Brown, which consists of Camden, Crawford, Dent, Phelps, and Pulaski Counties.
