An investigation is underway after a resident tests positive for COVID 19 at the Arrowhead Senior Living Facility in Osage Beach.
According to a release, the resident is the only confirmed case at this time.
Officials believe the resident was exposed after family members conducted an “unauthorized visit” by entering through a window in the room.
They say members of the family gave the resident a “kiss” and they believe that is now the virus was transmitted.
Officials say they are following all protocols and taking proper precautions.
