After serving 44 years across ten communities in Missouri and beyond, Camdenton City Administrator Jeff Hancock is calling it a career.
Hancock began his career in Camdenton in 1976 and it will officially end there in January, but he says he’s not going anywhere else.
Jeff says he’s keeping his options open and may do part-time work or more volunteer work.
When he retires in January, there will be several large projects still in the works that began under his administration. He says one of the things he’s most proud of accomplishing is the work it took to lead to expanding the airport.
While he says he would have liked to have seen more economic development in retail, that’s something he says will come. He also is confident that a new community college campus will come to fruition.
That proposal for a campus may appear on the ballot in April.
