A pair of zoning issues dealing with quarries will be on the agenda for the next Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen meeting. They’ll review recommendations from Planning and Zoning to grant a special use permit to RIS, Inc. for quarry operations and rezoning request from Magruder Quarry and Equipment. The measures would clear the way for RIS to sell stone and gravel removed from their property currently included in a Planned Unit Development zone. It would also allow Magruder to conduct quarry operations at a site off of Highway 54 across from the Eagle Stop. The board meets Tuesday at 6pm.
