A Richland man is seriously hurt after the pickup truck he was driving hit a bridge.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 59-year-old James Roberts was driving on Hwy 7 in Camden County when he went off the right side of the road.

Investigators say Roberts over-corrected when getting back on the road and then went off the left side of the road before hitting the bridge.

The truck then flipped and Roberts was later flown to University Hospital by air ambulance.
