RNC Chooses To Stay In North Carolina/No Convention In The Ozarks

It looks like the Lake area is officially out of the running for the Republican National Convention.

RNC officials have voted to keep the convention in Charlotte North Carolina.

It will be a significantly reduced crowd with only 336 of its roughly 2,550 national delegates expected to attend.

Officials say President Donald Trump is however still looking for a location to host his acceptance speech, with areas like Jacksonville Florida at the top of that list.

Last week FOX News commentator Brett Bair mentioned on a radio show that the Lake Area was one of the front runners, due its stance on freedom as shown during the Memorial Day weekend.
