Yesterday morning’s slick conditions led to many accidents, two that sent three Camdenton residents to the hospital.
At seven o’clock, 69-year old Marcelle Buxton’s 2006 Subaru began sliding on Velvet Road. Buxton overcorrected and sent the Subaru off the right side of the road into a tree. The Camdenton woman was belted in and suffered serious injuries.
At eight o’clock, 37-year old Amy Miller and 44-year old Brian Miller were headed north in their 2002 Dodge on Missouri 5, half a mile south of Missouri 7. The Dodge began to slide, Brian overcorrected, and the vehicle went off the road, overturning several times down an embankment. Both Camdenton residents were wearing seat belts and suffered serious injuries.
