A number of road projects are on tap for this week.
MODOT says delays can be expected starting today (Monday) for drivers on Business 54, as contractors begin widening the roadway to prepare for the roundabout at Willmore Lodge and the new interchange connector road for Route W and Osage Hills Road.
The work will continue through September 2nd.
Work on Highway 133 in Maries county also starts today, with contractors patching the pavement between Highway 63 and Highway 52.
One lane will be open with crews flagging traffic through the area.
Later this week culvert pipe replacement is expected to take place on Highway 52 in the Stover Area.
MODOT Says one lane will be closed between Elm and Fourth street and that work should be completed by September 2nd.

Business 54 Roundabout Construction to Begin Next Week in Lake Ozark -Monday
LAKE OZARK – Business 54 traffic will be impacted next week as crews begin widening that roadway to allow for the construction of a roundabout at Willmore Lane and the new interchange connector road. This work is part of the new U.S. Route 54 interchange project at Route W & Osage Hills Road.
The project contractor, working for the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin placing asphalt and installing barrier walls near the intersection on Monday, August 31. This work will require intermittent lane closures along Business 54 between Union Electric Road and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church through Wednesday, September 2.
Flaggers and signs will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are asked to plan for delays, slow down, avoid distractions and watch for crews in work zones.
This work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
Patching Repairs to Improve Route 133- Monday
OSAGE/MARIES COUNTY – Operations to improve the driving surface of Missouri Route 133 in Osage and Maries counties will take place next week.
Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to patch several sections of Route 133 between U.S. Route 63 in Osage County and Route 52 in Maries County, beginning Monday, August 31.
One lane will be closed at each location between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and traffic will be flagged through the work zone. Motorists are advised that some delays could take place. Drivers are asked to be patient, avoid distractions, obey traffic signs and allow plenty of room for crews to work.

Culvert Pipe Replacement to Impact Travel on Route 52 in Morgan County – Wednesday
MORGAN COUNTY – Culvert pipe replacement work will close one lane of Missouri Route 52 in Stover next week.
The work will take place between Elm Street and Fourth Street on Wednesday, September 2. One lane will be closed from 6 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers while this work takes place.
