Road Work for the Week

Here’s a look at the road work for Camden County. On the 54 Expressway, drivers are using the bypass near Route Y as the expressway is tied into 54. Entrances are being paved along Jeffries Road. The entire project should be done by late 2011. Also on Route H between Route 7 and Route BB, a partial surface overlay will take place today and tomorrow. And the Route A bridge over Barnett Branch should open this week.

In Miller County, traffic on Fish Haven Road may be delayed as the contractor moves material for Route 242. That project should be completed this winter. And on Route 52 between Route 17 and Route E, a partial surface overlay will take place this week, one lane will be open.

And in Morgan County on Route C between Route AA and Hopewell Road, one lane will be open Monday through Wednesday for a partial surface overlay. On Route E between Providence Road and the Moniteau County line, one lane will be open Thursday through next week for a partial surface overlay. And on Route BB between Route 135 and Route D, one lane will be open Monday for a partial surface overlay. And the Route 5 bridge over Soap Creek remains closed for replacement. Route 135 and J are being used as detours, tractor trailers are asked to use 54 or 65 as detours.
