Checking the road work for the week in Camden County. On the western end of the 54 Expressway, traffic is still reduced to one lane in each direction, old 54 is only accessible from KK. One lane is closed on the eastbound Grand Glaize bridge while crews work on the median barrier. And crews continue to work on the eastbound parkway access to the 54 Expressway, one lane is open in that area as well. The expressway project should be complete by the end of the year.
And on old Route 5 between 54 and the Laclede County line, one lane will be open Monday through Friday of this week for roadway maintenance.
Looking at the road work in Miller County on 242, delays can be expected on Fish Haven Road as the contractor moves material across the new 242. Traffic north of route 242 will lose access to Fish Haven Road south of Route 242 when the new road opens December 13th. Sign installation and mulching will take place this week on the new 242. Also in Miller County, on Route 42 between 54 and 17, one lane will be open this week for shoulder paving. And on Route CC between 52 and the Moniteau County line, one lane will be open until Wednesday for a culvert pipe replacement.
There is no road work scheduled for Morgan County.
