In Camden County on Route 54 in Linn Creek at the intersections of Route V and Business Park Road/East Valley Drive, grading and drainage work continues for the new Business Park Road and East Valley Drive widening. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2011. On Route 5 between Lake Road 5-49 and Lake Road 5-61, a partial overlay will take place today. One lane will be open. On Route J between Route 54 and Route 7, roadway maintenance will take place today through Friday. One lane will be open.
On the western half of the expressway, grading work continues to tie-in the new Jeffries Road to the existing Route 54. One westbound lane of Route 54 will be closed while the contractor ties the new Jeffries Road into existing Route 54. Asphalt paving is scheduled to begin this week on the new service road from Oak Road to Normandy Road. Traffic will no longer use the existing connection on existing Route 54 and will be detoured to Route KK for one mile and then turn south onto the new Swiss Village Road. The western half of the expressway is scheduled for completion in summer 2011.
Also in Camden County on the Route J Bridge over Prairie Hollow, north of Route 54, the bridge replacement continues. Traffic on Route J is being detoured around the work area on Route 54 and Route 7. The bridge is closed to traffic through late November.
Looking at Miller County, on Route A between Route 17 and Route 42, roadway patching and repair will take place Tuesday through Friday. One lane will be open. And on Route 52 between the city limits of Eldon and the city limits of Versailles and on Route 5 between Route 52 and the city limits of Fortuna, roadway maintenance will take place Monday through Friday. One lane will be open.
Looking at Morgan County, on Route Z between Route 5 and Route D, roadway patching and repair will take place Monday through Friday. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
