Here’s a look at the road work for the week in Camden County. On the 54 Expressway, drivers on the Osage Beach Parkway wanting to access the expressway headed west will have to access at KK. The Key Largo access to the expressway has been shut down. Eastbound parkway traffic that wants to access the Grand Glaize Bridge will have to use Case Road to enter the expressway, then travel across the bridge. One lane on the eastbound Grand Glaize Bridge in each direction is closed while the median barrier near the bridge is constructed. Also in Camden County, on old Route 5 between 54 and the Laclede County line, one lane will be open this week for maintenance and repair.
Checking the road work in Miller County, Fish Haven Road drivers can expect delays as the contractor moves material for the new Route 242. The contractor is now running power to the signals at 242 and 54 and the concrete islands and sidewalks are being paved. 242 should be complete before the end of this year.
And checking the road work in Morgan County, on Route 50 between Syracuse and the Pettis County line, one lane will be open this Tuesday through next Friday for roadway maintenance.
