Here’s a look at the road work for the week in Camden County. On the 54 Expressway, the eastbound and westbound lane shift to the eastbound Grand Glaize Bridge will continue while the expressway is tied into the bridge. That should last until November. And final paving and shoulder work continues at all service road connections. The whole project should be completed by this winter.
Checking the road work in Miller County, on Route 42 between Route 133 in Maries County and Route 17 in Miller County, one lane will be open this week for roadway resurfacing. And on Route 242, expect delays on Fish Haven Road as material is moved across the road. Route 242 should be done by this winter.
Looking at the road work in Morgan County, the Route 5 Bridge over Soap Creek remains closed for bridge replacement. Watch for traffic using routes 135 and J as a detour. Large tractor trailers are asked to consider using 54 or 65 to avoid the area entirely.
