Rocky Mount Woman Injured, Charged After Accident in Morgan County

A Rocky Mount woman is facing charges after an accident in Morgan County. 54-year old Alethea Johnson was driving on Route W at Brendel Boulevard when she went off the road and hit an embankment and concrete retaining wall. She was taken to Lake Regional with moderate injuries and faces charges of DWI, careless & imprudent driving, no seatbelt, and no valid plates.
