Rolla Mayor William Jenks, III has been picked by Gov. Nixon to serve a term on the Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board. The board ensures that Missouri state agency rules and regulations do not create an unfair burden for small businesses. Appointments to the Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board do not require Senate confirmation. Jenks is in his second elected term as mayor of Rolla, and previously served as a city council representative and on several city boards. He is the president of Jenks/Long Insurance, and has been active with numerous civic organizations. The Governor has appointed him for a term ending April 30, 2014.
