Route 242 could be free and clear real soon. The Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen approved their final payment to Bacron Enterprises for their work done on highway 242. The work was created from the Community Development Block Grant or CDBG which is what provided funding for the project. The grant was awarded by the Missouri department of Economic Development in conjunction with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, The Missouri Department of Economic Development and the Horseshoe Bend Transportation Development District. Bacorn Enterprises was hired by Lake Ozark to sever as the administrator for the grant was to be paid a sum of $59,500 for their services. A final invoice has been submitted to the city in the amount of $14,875 for the remaining balance. With the final payment being paid, the city would be eligible for another CDBG grant in the future.
