Rehabilitation of the Route 54 bridge over the Niangua Arm is expected to take place sometime this summer. MoDOT says the Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the project to the St. Louis Bridge Construction Company which submitted the low bid of $93,000. Most of the work is expected to take place from the waterway which will minimize any impacts to traffic using the bridge. MoDOT will use signage, news releases and social media to announce an exact date for the work to begin. You can also get more information about the project by going to MoDOT’s website.
