A new initiative is being launched to address a housing shortage in Miller, Morgan, Camden, and Laclede counties. It’s called Rural Housing 360. According to a press release from the Council of Local Governments, the program helps employers provide affordable housing options to their workers at no cost to the business. The workers get a chance to become home owners and develop ties to the community. More details on the program will be outlined at a public workshop scheduled for December 3rd at Osage Beach City Hall. Those that want to attend are asked to RSVP by November 29th. Call 573-346-5692.
