RVC Data Recovery was contracted on September 19th to assist with the data breach in Camden County. The Commission has announced they have terminated that contract for what they called a failure to perform. It was assumed they were contracted to fix the system because of all of the issues from the breach. The IT person in charge of the project, Reuben Chambers, says that wasn’t the case.
Chambers also says that, prior to being terminated, he reported Huber and Associates to CJIS for attempting to breach the system without written permission. They are the new company in charge of fixing the system.
