Saturday Accidents Reported

A couple of accidents reported, yesterday… one in Camden County, around 11:40, yesterday morning. The accident occurred on U.S. 54 westbound, a tenth of a mile east of Route Y. 66 year old Marvin Rhine, of Eldon, travelled off the right side of the roadway, in his 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. He went down an embankment and the vehicle overturned. Rhine was taken to Lake Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:16 p.m.
The second accident took place in Morgan County, on Missouri 5, a tenth of a mile north of Keepsake Road. 53 year old Larry Cable, of Gravois Mills, travelled off the right side of the roadway, in his 1995 Chevy pick up truck. Cable overcorrected and then travelled off the left side of the rodway, hit an embankment and overturned. He was taken, by ambulance, to Lake Regional Hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries.
