SBFD to Re-Open in Phases

With the State of Missouri set to begin re-opening next week, the Sunrise Beach Fire District also plans to do so.

Chief Joseph LaPlant says the district’s re-opening will be done in two phases. First, starting on Monday, the business office will re-open to the public, including board meetings which will observe any social distancing orders still in place.

Second, the district’s meeting rooms and firehouses will then be re-opened to the public once the concern for a COVID resurgence spike is minimal.

In the meantime, according to Chief LaPlant, social distancing recommendations will continue until further notice.
