School of the Osage Addresses Security Issues

Officials from School of the Osage are putting talks about upping security within the district on the fast track. The board of education met in regular session Monday night to discuss the topic. Superintendent Doctor Brent Depee told the board the most logical step now is to avoid acting out of emotion and to put the district’s safety committee in charge of coming with some possible solutions…

Plans are to have the safety committee gather in the next two or three weeks to start discussion on the issues…including whether or not, to arm certain staff members.
