The second quarter is coming to a close and school districts are beginning to look at their overall performance. School of the Osage Superintendent Dr. Brent Depee says they need to focus on their attendance rates. He says how the state measures attendance has changed.
He says, as a district, they have an attendance rate of 86.3%. The upper elementary is at 92%, Heritage is at 88%, the middle school is at 85%, and the high school is at 80%. He says they would like to see the overall in the 90’s and they will continue to monitor those numbers each month.
