School of the Osage has identified a list of distribution sites to continue school-based meal services for families in need during the COVID-shutdown. Superintendent Doctor Laura Nelson says buses will be running to five different locations everyday starting on Tuesday of next week. The buses will deliver shelf-stable grab-and-go breakfast and lunches, along with additional food items on Fridays that are in compliance with local health guidelines. The buses will stay parked at the distribution sites from 11a-1p each day providing free wi-fi for those who need it. The sites include: the Brumley post office, W-Construction Site on Highway-W, the Lion’s Club on Fish Haven in Lake Ozark, the junction of Cat Rock and Aztec roads and Carl’s Supermarket on HH. On-campus meal distribution will also be available at Heritage Elementary in Lake Ozark and the Upper Elementary on the main campus in Osage Beach.
