Searchers have recovered the body of a man drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks. Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division Sgt. Jerry Callahan says 93-year-old Alton Mos of Kansas City was last seen fishing on a dock at the 34 mile marker Sunday afternoon. When his granddaughter went to check on him, he was missing. His hat was found floating in the water with all of his fishing gear and personal items still on the dock. A diver from the Water Patrol Division dive team located the man’s body at 11:57 a.m. today. It’s the fifth drowning this summer on the Lake of the Ozarks.
