A second arrest has been made in connection to a case of alleged sexual abuse involving young children in Camden County. 29-year-old Darrell Rountree, of Camdenton, was arrested earlier this month and charged with one count of child abuse or neglect and five counts of statutory sodomy first-degree deviate sexual intercourse with victims under the age of 12. Now arrested in the case is a person described as an “adult friend” of Rountree…she is identified as 32-year-old Amanda Rice-Foss, also from Camdenton. Rice Foss is charged with three counts of tampering with a victim or witness in a felony and two counts of statutory sodomy. It’s alleged, between Rountree and Rice-Foss, that a 5-year-old child was shown how to touch herself in a sexual way. It’s also alleged that the children…at times…would go without food, would be hit with a spatula, and would not be allowed to play with toys. Rice-Foss was booked into the Camden County Jail and is being held on a $50-thousand bond while Rountree continues to be held without bond.
