A second positive case of COVID-19 is now being reported at Lake of the Ozarks…this one in Benton County.
That’s according to a statement issued Wednesday on social media by the Benton County Health Department. The department, at this time, has started the investigation to identify individuals who have had direct contact with the infected person.
The Missouri Department of Health says so far there are 357 confirmed cases throughout the state and eight people have died from the virus.
Outside of Benton County, Camden County is the other lake community to have 1 positive test, a bus driver for the Camdenton R3 school district. There are no cases reported yet in Miller or Morgan Counties.
Nearby, Cole County has six cases, Moniteau County has two cases and Pulaski County has four positive cases.
