Senator Roy Blunt will be making a couple stops in the lake area today. He’ll be in Warsaw at Harbor Village where he’ll be discussing legislation to reauthorize the Community Health Center Fund and the National Health Service Corps. Blunt supported legislation that extended $600 million for the program over a five year period. That appearance is slated for 2:30 p.m. Blunt’s second stop will be in Versailles where he’ll meet with first responders at the Hunter Civic Center. There he’ll be discussing a recent Assistance to Firefighter Grant that was awarded to the Versailles Rural Fire Protection District in the amount of $22,720. That event will be held at 4:05 p.m.
