Camdenton’s new City Administrator is not exactly unfamiliar with the area. Jeffrey Hooker had vacationed at the lake for years and had even lived here for awhile before eventually moving to Fort Myers Florida. He says it was those experiences that made him want to come back.
Hooker says the city has a lot of momentum that he hopes to build on. Three primary projects that he says bode well for the future are the airport expansion, construction of a community center, and a pending vote on a new college campus.
Hooker replaced Jeff Hancock after he retired as City Administrator.
