Sentencing Hearing for Former Teacher Rescheduled

A last-minute reprieve for a former teacher who sexually abused a student. Mark Edwards received a temporary delay in his sentencing when he appeared in court Thursday. Edwards, a former educator at School of the Osage, was scheduled to be sentenced in a plea deal that he reached last November. He has agreed to enter a guilty plea to one charge against him. He was charged with four counts in all, involving cases with two separate students and at least two of the charges involved a victim under the age of 14. His sentencing hearing has been rescheduled and will now take place February 14th.
