If you haven’t noticed yet, the days are getting shorter and the darkness is showing up sooner. That means it’s time yet again to set our clocks back 1 hour as we stroll into this Sunday night. Local fire departments across the Lake are also reminding residents to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon dioxide detectors when you roll the time back to keep them fresh and keep you safe. If you need a battery and cannot afford one, several departments are offering batteries as well as new smoke detectors for no cost. Contact your local fire department and don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour this Sunday night.
