MODOT has several projects lined up this week in the Lake area. In Camden County, pavement and sidewalk improvements are underway on route 54 at business route 5. The contractor will install pedestrian signal upgrades at the town square intersection and occasional lane closures are expected. The project is scheduled to be finished this month. MODOT also announced that roadway resurfacing has now been completed on route 7 between route 5 and 65 in Benton County. In Miller County, roadside maintenance will take place on route 17 between route 52 and “H” as well as on route 42 between 134 and Kaiser Road, and on route 52 between route “PP” and 133 in Maries County. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic thru the work areas. Bridge inspection will take place Wednesday and Thursday at route 17 over the Osage River north of route “F” and culvert pipe replacement is being done on route 87 between route “P” and route “A” in Moniteau County as well as on route “Y” between beacon road and the end of state maintenance in Morgan County.
