The clean up continues as severe weather leaves behind damage in Lake Ozark. Police Chief Mark Maples says downed power lines caused both eastbound and westbound Highway 54 to be closed. Power went out on the south side of the city which also caused traffic lights to go off. The Police Department also lost power for some time. There was a report of a gasoline leak at Marine Max. Officers responded and the gas lines were shut off. The Department of Natural Resources was as contacted about the possibility of gas making it into the lake. Twin Oaks Road had downed trees on the street and also on homes. Billboard signs were blown over in the area of the Bagnell Dam Boulvevard and the Osage Beach Parkway. Damage was reported at the Eagles Landing construction site with trailers being blown over. Maples says if any Lake Ozark residents has storm debris on the roads they are asked to contact call city hall and make a report so that can be added it to the list for clean up.
