Lake Ozark is starting the repair phase of its state mandated sewer improvements. The city is waiting for state approval of its Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study and its facility plan.
Jeff Schug from McClure Engineering said at last night’s board meeting that the city will have a public hearing discussing environment, a hearing describing the repair project, and a hearing on sewer rates. The city is tallying up the results of the most recent sewer rate increase.
Lake Ozark has already installed a sewer monitoring system as part of the judgement against the city by the Missouri Attorney General and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
