Share The Harvest Helps Over 1,600 Lake Residents

Local News Thursday, May 28th, 2020

More than 1,600 people have been helped by the Share the Harvest Food Pantry in Camdenton since April.

Officials say since they opened the drive-through service, the outreach to the community has significantly increased compared to this time last year.

Due to COVID 19, the food pantry has had to cancel a number of their annual fundraising events and close their thrift store to in person sales.

Harvest officials tell KRMS news that the community has been a great help, as many lake residents have sent in donations of all kinds to help keep the pantry open.

Share the Harvest does plan to resume their normal operations and re-open the thrift store on June 1st.
