State lawmakers get together this week for the annual veto session, meaning a chance to undo what Governor Jay Nixon has struck down. One of the hot-button topics sure to take center-stage during the session is a bill the governor vetoed which would have allowed Missourians to legally carry concealed weapons without a permit. Camden County Sheriff Dwight Franklin is among those keeping an eye on the issue and says he has no problem with our state representatives overriding the veto.
The veto session begins on Wednesday of this week in the state capitol.
