Sheriff May Have Suspect in Highway W Burglaries

There is a suspect in the recent string of burglaries that have taken place along Highway W, but the Sheriff doesn’t want to release any more information yet. The Miller County Sheriffs office is handling the investigation and has made residents of Miller County Nervous. There was one instance of a vacation home that was targeted and $4,000 worth of electronics were taken from the home. This is not the only home along highway W that has been hit. A few other homes along Highway W have seen the same sort of theft. The Miller County Sheriff’s Department decided to take fingerprints to see who was responsible after the burglary. Initially it was thought that the results would take days, now it is thought to take weeks. The prints were sent to Jefferson City through the Missouri Highway.
