
A man who escaped law enforcement over a parole violation is still on the run this morning.
According to the Miller County Sheriff’s office, Jonathan Adams escaped into the woods near HyVee late Monday night.
Numerous agencies searched the wooded areas near D road and Wood River Road throughout the night, but Adams eluded them.
Reports on Facebook indicated that he had been captured, however the Sheriff’s office says that was not the case.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Miller County sheriff’s office immediately.
Johnathan Adams was not located during the search. We are continuing to search for Adams and his whereabouts. If you have information about his whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
The Sheriffs Office along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lake Ozark Police Department, City of Eldon Police Department, and Osage Beach Police Department are in the area of Route D and Wood River Road searching for a subject that fled on foot after a vehicle pursuit.
One subject was taken into custody.
The subject that fled is identified as Johnathan Adams who has a probation and parole warrant.
